2K ProRes Files on Aja Kona Lhe, Monitor Playback
Hello all,
I’ve been transcoding RED camera “High” 2k proxies in Compressor to 2k ProRes (145-SQ) QuickTimes for offline of a feature. Perhaps it’s not even possible, but is there a way that the AJA Kona LHe card will output the 2k ProRes files in real-time to a 1080i consumer HD tube TV set? I can get 1080i59.94 and 1080psf23.98 (via pulldown) to output to the TV set just fine, but is 2k to 1080 something only the Kona 3 will do? Thanks!

Nope
the max video frame size on the LH cards is 1920 as you correctly assume you will have to have the Kona 3 card to handle larger than 2048 or larger frame sizes.gary adcock
