2k in final cut with Kona 3?
I’ve been told that with the KONA 3 I can edit 2k in Final Cut Pro (of course with a fast RAID, etc). Has anyone done much of this? Just curious about your experience/comments about it.
I’m basically talking about doing a 2k online of a 3 minute stop motion animation which was shot in large format JPEGS which were turned into full size image sequences, and then downconverted into DVCPRO HD for the offline edit.

I saw this in action all four days at NAB last April. Extremely impressive to look at.
