2d car animation in After Effects
Hey Guys Whatsup?
i want to animate a car in 2d space side view actually i can animate i learned amazing things in this forum and following you to learn something like pick whip rotation of wheels to car body or looping background .but i want to take controll of my car’s wheels and background.i want to stop the wheel and background or accelerate it.how can i do that? -

You can have a Comp setup with just the car and background and a continuous animation, then pre-comp that and enable Time remapping on the precomp. Now you can accelerate, slow down and stop your can and background by setting keyframes on the Time remap and then moving them around to get what you’re after. By keeping the constant animation in a precomp as opposed to have a rendered layer you get clean frames from the Time remap.
