2D animations imported in FCP + Timeline Sequence settings for such animations
I have been working with 2D cartoons/animations in my FCP movie project. The problem is that the animations have too many glitches once they are in FCP, not to mention they do not always look right on screen.
The second question/problem I have is that I do not know how to work with these 2D cartoons in FCP. If I bring them in on the timeline -from the bin to the timeline- FCP asks me if I want to change my sequence settings. Once I actually tried to change my sequence settings, and it turned “psychedelic” for my very real, documentary-oriented footage. Should I put these cartoons on another sequence, and hope that they will reunite with the rest of the film upon launching? Should I continue to insert these animations on my timeline, in the regular way, and hope that the glitches I see will be overlooked by me and the audience?
All the 2D cartoons are QuickTime files.
Thank you for your time, reflections, and energy.
