  25P and 50P

  Hi there folks. I have just shot a project in 50P and using on a HD 50P timeline. A problem is my Blackmagic Ultrastudio I/O only supports 25P. Therefore it will not play out on my grading monitor.

  If I change the timeline sequence setting to 25P then it plays. My question is: Can I revert back to 50P at any time, or is there some sort of destructive down converting happening once I go to 25P?

  My question arises because I may need to export this out for 25P audience as well as a 30P market – which is new to me.

  Or is simply editing and exporting in 25P, then exporting the same project at 30P the ‘normal’ thing?
