  25 FPS capture on 720p60 tape

  Hi.
  I’m capturing straight from the camera (AJ-HDC27FE) to the AJA VTR Exchange (using Kona 3) thru an SDI Cable.

  The footage is 720p60 recorded at 50 fps: I capture it 720p50 at 25fps so i got the slow-motion we wanted.

  It works fine, but i got problems with the TC:
  If I capture a 30 minutes tape i have an only 30 minutes resulting media… It should be 60 minutes since i am capturing half the speed it was recorded!

  The only solution is capturing the whole tape, then capturing the second half, and so on until i manually adquired all the remainings to the end of the tape… isn’t there a better way?
  Not to mention there’s no chance to Batch-capture the footage again since it has a new Time Code not corresponding the one on the tape…

  FCP still won’t handle the 25 fps capture from 720p60 footage…
