i have a problem…i shot this footage with the panasonic dvx100a in 24p advance mode (16:9 squeeze mode, if that matters). now i’m trying to edit it in a 23.98 sequence in final cut 5. when i capture the footage, everything looks fine. but when i dump it into my sequence, it does this stutter-y thing when playing. i tried everything as far as messing with the pulldown pattern, i can’t seem to figure out the problem. any help is appreciated.
    thanks.

thanks for the help dave. but i guess i forgot to mention that i did captured in the DV NTSC 48 kHz Advanced (2:3:3:2) Pulldown Removal mode. only thing is that i changed the fcp preset from 23.98 fps instead of 29.97. i figured that in order to edit in a 23.98 sequence i needed to change that. is that wrong?
