24P telecine removal for ProRes footage (from Canon HF100/HF10/HF11)?

What’s a simple workflow for removing the telecine on the HF100 for 24P footage?

It says you can use Compressor or Cinema Tools, but that if you use Cinema Tools, you have to modify each clip individually. I would be doing this for a large number of clips at the same time, and would want to just set up a batch and let it cook.
For my HF100, I usually just use “Log and Transfer” to turn AVCHD into ProRes on import, but I’m not sure exactly what the workflow would be from there.
I wish there were a way to remove the telecine before import, but this does not seem to be possible.
What program/workflow is the easiest fastest for telecine removal from ProRes footage with a telecine? Would you recommend using Compressor or Cinema Tools?

Have you tried that suggested workflow, it never hurts to try something.
You can remove Advanced Pulldown with Log and Transfer (as well as Capture) but this is normally only found on higher end cameras, especially the Panasonic’s. They use a cleaner Pulldown (telecine) scheme that pulls out cleaner.
Your footage should act very much like HDV. Bring it a go. The key is when you bring it into FCP it will say that it is 23.98 and if you step through a clip each frame will look clean.

Thanks. I found a way to make it work. Turns out, I needed to uncheck “Remove Advanced Pulldown…” for my consumer cam., or it started repeating frames, even with using Compressor for telecine removal. After this, it worked fine after roundtripping to Compressor.
Looks like the the new version of the HV20/HV30, the HV40 has native 24P. Perhaps Canon’s next consumer AVCHD cam will have it as well…
