  24p interlacing problem- only part of project

  I captured footage from 2 DVX-100 cameras, shot in 24p, into an NTSC 24p project in PP2.0.

  I removed the 24p pulldown and the framerate of all my footage says 23.976.

  I edited most of the footage together and it looks great until near the end of the timeline where the footage from one camera appears “interlaced” although far worse than actual interlacing- the lines are VERY noticeable. Maybe this is referred to as tearing?

  AND, The footage from the other camera switches to this terrible quality right in the middle of a shot and it skips a couple seconds- like many dropped frames but I know it wasn’t captured this way.

  It appears this has all happened since I started editing, so it must be a computer problem. Any ideas?
