    24P Cine Mode on Canon HD HV30 and XH-A1?

    Anyone have advice on whether or not to use the 24p cine mode on the new Canon HD cameras? I’m beginning work on a documentary that will mix older SD material and new HD material, and I’m considering using the 24p mode for a more “movie-like” look.

    Are there disadvantages to using this mode in FCP?

    I think it’s great. I have a canon XH A1 and have no problems mixing video types and doing graphics. And the look of the video turns out really cool!
