I’m cutting a :60 spot that was shot in 24p Advanced mode. I was able to capture and edit my spot without any issue, now I’m wondering if 24p-a was the right way to go because I’m not sure if I’ll be able to master it to Digial Beta. I’m not too sure how or why 24p-a is used in an NTSC 29.97 environment. I don’t fully understand how it all works but if I need my projects to master at 29.97 why use 24p?
If there is a good reason then how do I master a 23.98 timeline to a Digibeta?

    Does anyone have the answers?

BTW: I’m using FCP 5.1.2 and Blackmagic
