I’m trying to Slow Mo 24fps video in FCP but it looks choppy. I turned off the frame blending and it helped a little bit but not as much as I’d like. If there anyway to help this or is it just the way its going to look?

    Thanks!

The lower the frame rate you shot, the choppier it will look when slowed down. If you want smooth slow motion, you have to shoot a higher frame rate. 60fps slowed down to 24fps, for example, looks really smooth. But if your footage already is 24fps…slowing it down won’t look smooth at all.

You can try to use something like Twixtor…but 24fps slowed down…there just isn’t much you can do.
