offline sequence in FCP reads 24
    Cinema Tools reads 24.
Compressor’s settings for DVD are 23.98

My assistant set everything up and he’s out of country..

Lab needs to know ASAP frame rate for digitizing HD footage from telecine session. I will be importing these HQ files back into FCP. We shot on 35mm 4perf. I’m guessing 24, any way it could be 23.98?

Bump does nothing. Post still floats to the bottom.

Well, to answer this, we need to know how you are Mastering. Final output to what? And TRUE 24fps? That’s what the sequence settings say?

What was the frame rate on the original telecine to do the SD edit?

Yes Shane, the sequence setting says ’24’.

Talked to Deluxe. 23.98 is correct.
    Problem solved.
