24 or 25 fps video shooting and the 1/50 parameter
Hello,
I’m really new to video shooting.
I read on this setting in order to get the “film” look, and that the should be set at 1/50 (which is twice the fps for 24 and 25 fps) in accordance with the 180 degre shutter rule.
People shooting at 24 fps should set a 1/48 but, since it isn’t available, the closest is 1/50.My question is:
If the one wants to get the best quality film look, I understand that the best is to shoot at 25 fps in order to match perfectly the 180 degree shutter, since it’s exactly twice the fps. And is there a diminution in quality is it’s shot in 24 fps.
24 fps VS 25 fps with 1/50, which is the winner?Thank you.
