    Hello,

I have a project which is recorded with HD camera, captured as 10-bit uncompressed, but most of material was recorded at 25 fps, some at 24 fps. I need advise how to convert 24 fps to 25 fps, i tried Compressor with duplicate 24th frame option, but that looks bad. Anyone have suggestion how to convert it????

You could use the Cinema Tools conform option. It will speed the clip up by 4%, but it’s my understanding that it’s how feature films are delivered.

I played with it on a project last week. The speed change bothered be so I ended up slowing down the entire film by 96% in FCP. In my opinion, this was a lot smoother than duplicating the 24th frame.

IMHO the speed change in Cinema Tools is the way to go. FCP will add frame-blending which adds double-contours on movements. The speed change will look cleaner.

The new Soundtrack Pro can take care of the speed change in audio.
