    Hi there,

Shot some stuff as a favour for a friend in 24P on a C100. It was just meant to go into an online video.

Now they want to make in into a Video News Release for local media here in Australia.

I will need to convert to 25P at least.

Is this possible in Premiere Pro?

My theory is I can do this-

Create a 25P project, import the shots, drop into timeline and let PP convert them to 25P. Or possibly I need to interpret footage or something… about to do a test but thought I would see if I am barking up the wrong tree or if my theory is not correct…

    Many thanks,
    Dale

I have done my tests and it seemes to have worked-

    25P project/timeline.

    Import 23.976 footage.

    Interpret footage to 25P

    Edit into timeline.

    Export as 25P sequence…

All seems to look good. Except for one shot that has turned to mush. Never seen that before. Every other shot was fine. To get the mushy one looking good I exported at 15000 kpbs. Everything else was fine at 4000. I’m no compression expert thats for sure so not sure why.

If anyone can chime in I’m still appreciative.

    Thankyou
    Dale
