2015 Stopping Preview
Anyone else having issues with stopping the endless preview.
Mine seems to often get stuck–and you have to wait until the entire thing has pre-rendered to get control again.

Yeah, I read the article.
It and the AE help says that to stop a preview you have to:
“Press any of the preview keyboard shortcuts: Spacebar, Numpad-0, or Shift + Numpad-0.”
That is not working—for me the preview continues to try to cache until it gets to the end of the sequence–nothing seems to be able to stop it.

It properly follows the work area.
But not being able to get back control is a step in the wrong direction.

You should be able to have control. What you are describing sounds like a bug I’ve heard here and there on the forums. If you could file a bug report, I’m sure the AE team would appreciate it. They are planning a bug fix update next month and they’d likely want to squash as many as possible.
