    Hi All!

I currently have a 2012 mac pro laptop and I use it to cut with Adobe Premiere. Unfortunately, it just can’t handle things the way I need it to. The new Mac Pro’s are currently out of my price range. I was hoping to get your thoughts on the usability of a 2012 mac pro tower? Looking at the specs it is a clear upgrade from what I have but I wanted some input into if it’s worth it? I’d buy a 2013 trashcan Mac Pro but they’re generally triple the price and sorta hard to find.

Thank you for any advice you might have!

I am currently using a mid-2010 Mac Pro tower with High Sierra and it is accepting all of the Creative Cloud upgrades. I cannot upgrade the MacOS, however. I am guessing you would do well with a 2012 if I am still working with a 2010 tower. I like it because I still use the Firewire connections and I am still burning DVDs with iDVD. Good luck!
