1 We have a quad Mac with a Sonnet E4P card and external drives. I was wondering if anyone knows of any RAID 5 software solutions that would work with this drive.
2 We have two 250 GB internal SATA drives in the Mac and I was wondering if I could mirror the two drives and use this as a boot configuration?
Thanks,
Ken

2- MIrroring a boot drive will actally slow it down. Some have tried to RAID 0 a boot disk , but that can cause problems too. The best way to speed up a boot drive is to go with a 10K SATA drive as the boot drive.
