    2″ quad transfer/capture

    We still do a lot of work with tape but I just don’t have a 2″ machine lying around…

    Can anyone recommend a facility to transfer to an uncompressed SD format that can be returned to me on hard drive? 4 reels of about an hour each. I’m on the east coast, not that it matters.

    On the East Coast, look up Vidipax.

    Thanks Mark, looks like Vidipax may have been liquidated back in 2009. I found a company local in PA that we can hand deliver to – that makes me feel much better.

    There`s also Harry Boettcher, 60 Hahn Avenue, Roselle Park, New Jersey 07662. VERY good on weak or problem recordings.
