I am having my film scanned. I have a rough cut in Final Cut. My dailies were direct to disk telecine SD 23.98 quicktimes. No timecode burn in. It LOOKS like there is a timecode track in QT files. How can I effectively ensure that my lab flats and EDL will match up come time to scan?

Each lab flat has a corresponding quicktime (ie: one lab flat = 15-22 minute QT)

    Any help would be appreciated!!

    Thanks!

I don’t know the answer to your question. But what I can tell you is that you always have the option to change your source TC any time during the workflow. Highlight your clips, select “Modify -> Timecode” and change it to match the film scan TC (assuming it’s different). Doing this does not alter any editing you’ve done on any sequences within the open project.
