2 mics, 2 channels, 1 idiot
The result of a bad shoot, I’ve ended up with a bunch of tapes with very mixed audio content.
2 radio mics, the presenter + sub-presenter chipping in with comments from time to time.
As well as chipping in I’v also recorded them when they slipped out the room – making coffee, going to the toilet, and discussing the previous nights food quality – right through the middle of the other presenter doing their job.
So, 2 channles of DV recorded with 2 seperate mics into seperate XLR inputs – would like to end up with a nice stereo finish (minus the puls points of the local steakhouse).
Whats the best way around this – panning envelope is no problem, but it looks as though I only end up with a mono finish.
Copy the tracks and then cut the rubbish out – duping what I keep to make a stereo?
Anyway – I’m sure I can work it out – just thought I’d ask for a nice short cut if one is out there.
Thanks
