I have two comps, one is a pre-comp that had an expression on it in the original comp, obviously when I pre-composed I lost the link of that expression. Is it possible to link expressions from one comp to another. Let’s say I want my scale to be affected by my Soundkey keyframes?

I have looked through similar posts, and I’m doing what they say, and it keeps disabling the expression. I don’t know what to do. I even tried un-docking the panel and pickwicking the expression and that didn’t work?

It should work. What’s the error message when the expression gets disabled?

I just tried it using your layer and comp names and it works fine for me. Is it possible that you have two comps named “Equilizer” (and one of them doesn’t have a layer named “SoundKeys”)?

That Could very well be possible, I had brought in a project to refresh my memory and it was the same structure, so that could be the issue. Let me run some tests and I’ll get back to you.

    Thanks
