I shot 720p to a p2 card Did all my editing, lower 3rds ect

now, they want a 4:3 flv file from this footage. (Squeeze is what I will be using)

    The question is:
How can I export my 16:9 footage out: file, export, qt movie, current settings to get a correctly formatted 4:3 video?

    They do not want letterboxing.

My thoughts would be make the lower 3rds ect.. fit into a 4:3 title safe area and crop in squeeze?

I also put my footage into a SD (ntsc dv) timeline and rendered that out, which yielded good results, but am I losing resolution by doing this?

you will need to redo your graphics to fit for a 4×3. You will want to crop and or repo your image to fit into action safe. Ii’m not sure what would be a faster render but you can crop it in squeeze or take your final fcp sequence and drop it into a 4:3 sequence and then do your graphics and repo. You can also render a .flv in after effects and that works pretty fast. many ways to skin a cat!
