Hi guys, i m in front of a problem that i cannot fix. I have a 16 g p2, that i already format and shoot 2 clips on it. Then i plug my firewire to import ( i have fcp 6, and a hvx 200) but the card doesn t mount to the desktop, so impossible to import in fcp i suppose. I check disk utility ( i m on mac pro), i also installed the lastest drivers on the mac. Nothing appears. I there something to set on the camera or on the mac that i don t know. Thank to help me

Holding down the MCR button puts the camera into Firewire device mode. Then the card should appear on your desktop. Workflow info is here:

See page 84 of your manual or follow below:

in your menu set it to 1394 DEVICE
    turn camera off
    plug in firwire cable
make sure you’re in P2 mode on the media switch
    turn camera on
press the MCR switch once to switch to VCR mode
THEN HOLD DOWN THE MCR SWITCH for 2-3 seconds
you’ll see your lcd screen turn blue then the cards will pop up on your desktop

    there you go
