16:9 to 4:3 with No Black Bars
I am working with both HD and SD 16:9 footage in Premiere. I would like to export the final project in 16:9 and 4:3.
When I export the project in 4:3, is there anyway to get rid of the black bars on the top and bottom of the screen?

The easiest way is to first import the 16:9 project into a new 4:3 project and export that way. then you can choose either to have bars on top and bottom, or to lose the sides, depending on how you size the footage.

When I import the HD project into the SD project it automatically cuts the picture down and I loose alot of my video on the screen.
How do I resize the video if it automatically resizing?
I brought the HD project into a standard 4:3 project.
I must be missing something.

Create a new sequence, then drag your old sequence into the new timeline. Then use the motion settings to resize to your liking.
