16:9 Full height Anamorphic 720×576 getting squashed in export
Guys really need some help on this one its for a client!
I’ve got a promo video, its 1280×720 MPEG-4 (.mp4) and 128mb
I’ve been asked to format it to:
PAL DV
16/9 Full height Anamorphic
720×576I created a new sequence in Premier using DV-PAL, Widescreen 32 kHz
Frame size: 720h 576v (1.4587)
Frame rate: 25.00 frames/second
Pixel Aspect Ratio: D1/DV PAL Widescreen 16:9 (1.4587)
Fields: Lower Field FirstThe promo video fits in the sequence fine all in my project, then when i render it, it comes out horizontally squashed??

i cant see that I’m doing anything wrong? but every time it comes out squashed horizontally, is it meant to be like that or something?
Can someone please help me i going mad!

How are you viewing the rendered file? Many media players do not recognize anamorphic aspect ratios. Try viewing the output file in Premiere to check. You might want to export a second version with square pixels for computer/online viewing.
