  16:9 footage from AE displays wrong in FCP

  Hi,

  I’m making a animation in AE and i render the files as: PAL D1/DV Widescreen, 720×576
  Pixel aspect ratio: PAL D1/DV Widescreen Frame aspect ratio: 16×9

  My sequence in FPC is: Frame size 720×576, AR: CCIR601 / DV PAL (5:4)
  Pixel aspect ratio: PAL – CCIR601 Anamorphic 16:9
  I have ticked the 16:9 option on in all footage files.

  Everything should be allright but its not. The FPC frame size is actually 1024×575 leaving black spaces both sides of the frame. I have tried everything to get this work. If i export the sequence the black spaces are there even if the export frame size is 720×576.

  Where does the FCP get the 1024×576 frame size as it’s not selected anywhere?
