16 x 9 matte
Hi. I need to create a 16 x 9 matte for some footage in Final Cut Pro. There are some frame issues I’m trying to resolve and am just looking to create the matte to lay over the footage. Is there an easy way to do this in Photoshop? I’m running version 7.0 on a G5 Mac if it helps. Thanks.

Might helped if you specified frame size and formats you are working with
But essentially… fill a layer with black
Delete away the portion you want transparent
Make an Alpha Channel
Save as a PICT with alpha includedRichard M. Harrington, PMP
