  • 1.51 Problem? rendering necessary files

Poblem 1.51. With about 300 items in the job, I get the message rendering necessary files. The system pauses for the time it takes to render. This is very annoying and makes things unworkable. Any ideas?

No, it does it all on it’s own. That’s the strange thing.

Are you using a stright OHCI firewire setup?
Maybe the Enter key has a short in it…try another keyboard.

    Mike,

I’ve tried what you suggested. No luck.

The funny thing, this only happens in this job. I’ve brought up another job that has the same amount of clips and audio track and there isn’t a problem.

This is the first job that we’ve started with 1.51 from scratch. Up to now with 1.5, we’ve been using the same raid striped drive for both video and conformed audio, and we’ve never had this issue before. I tried change the scratched disk for the problem job to another drive still no success.( Although the already render conformed audio still was on the same primary raid drive.)

    Hoping for some resolution.

    Richard
