Not so much a problem, just I guess more of a queery. I’m working on a 1440 x 1080 HD sequence. When I export by going to file > export > quicktime movie go with either HDV 1080i50 or stick with current settings, click save, it exports the movie, but quicktime tells me it is 1920 x 1080… is that normal or ment to be?

    Cheers,

    Dan

    yes.

1920×1080 is what its displayed at.

lower end hd camcorders and earlier pro ones didn’t
do full raster (1920×1080) so they cut down on
the resolution in order to get it to work.

HDV and DVCPRO-HD are this way.
