I have AVCHD clips in 1440 x 1080i, 1920 x 1080i as well as 720p. Which project and output settings in Vegas 8.0b will give me optimal resolution/quality when using any of these three on the same timeline. Final output to both SD and BD DVD. Thanks in advance.

I would set the project up 1920 x 1080i and render to BD as that as well. The 1440 x 1080 will look fine because it has a pixel aspect ratio of 1.3333 which brings the true resolution to 1920 x 1080 anyway. The 720p footage will be scaled up by Vegas and it is what it is. If it looks noticeably different I would not use that camera next time but it will probably look fine.
