If I have DVCProHD source material and I digitize it via an Avid Adrenaline HD w/DNXCEL board to 14:1p, will the 14:1p footage be at a standard definition frame size or high definition frame size?

    Thanks in advance.

For HD the only formats available are 145, 185, 220 MXF, and DVC Pro HD native.

14:1 is used for 24p/23.976 standard def projects. I don’t remember them being available for HD ingest.

14:1 is a compressed standard definition resolution. You can transcode from any of the DNxHD resolutions to 14:1. The resulting aspect ration will be 16:9 anamorphic.
