1280 x 800 Photoshop files and Exporting
The broadcaster (a bus with video screens) wants video at 1280 x 800. The video I shot was filmed at 720 x 480 DV NTSC. I also have photoshop graphics that are 1280 x 800.
Even if I make a custom sequence preset at 1280 x 800, my photoshop graphics don’t fit this at 100% (black bars at just the top). Also, everything needs to be rendered.
I already edited everything with the sequence at 720 x 480 NTSC and now am copying the edited video to this new sequence (1280 x 800). I know its probably a bad way to be working…
I’m really confused because when I use the preset of HDV – 720p30 (which is 1280 x 720) the photoshop files (1280×800) fit the canvas perfectly at 100% and nothing needs to be rendered. However, when I export, the video is at 1280 x 720.
I’m sure its something really obvious but I’ve trialed and errored so much its driving me crazy! I appreciate it so much if anyone can help!

You know, you could just edit in your native size NTSC SD and then do a send to compressor and let it resize to this wacky 1280×800 frame. Problem solved.
Non-linear: all the time and nothing but.
