  • 1/2 Hour of Footage into 8 sec. FCP?

Posted by Blake Porter on October 24, 2007 at 5:21 pm

    Hi,
I’ve shot a series of outdoor Time Lapse’s (Sunrise, etc.), with a Z1u, in HDV and capturing in FCP-6, in SD 16 x 9. How can I effectively render these 1/2 hour shots into less than 10 sec. clips?
    Use Final Cut?
    Some other software?
    Thank you!

    30×60/8=225

    225×100=22500

22500% will turn 30 minutes of footage into 8 secs of really fast footage. (I think)
