  11.6.2 Release

  You’ll see a message about this shortly in press release form, but I wanted to post here first. We just posted Media 100 11.6.2 for AJA and Media 100 HDx hardware, and Media 100 Producer to the Media 100 Support Website. Here is a couple of things you need to know.

  11.6.2 is Universal Binary and will work on Intel and PPC Macs.

  11.6.2 is functionally equivalent to 11.5 and 11.5.1, there are no new features that have been added.

  11.6.2 needs a new encryption code, if you have platinum software updates and purchase a new Intel based Mac, give us a call and we will give you a key to run your software.

  If you have a valid Platinum Software Update contract and want to install this version on your PowerPC Mac, contact us and we will give you a valid encryption code.

  If you own 11.6 or 11.6.2, we recommend you install this version.
