10bit Uncompressed to DV ?
Hi,
I’ve got a show in 10bit Uncompressed anamorphic format.
Wondering what is the best way to output a DV format file? Export as QT? QT Conversion? Or use Compressor?
Also, I need to make a letterbox version. Should I do this in FCP? Or better to letterbox in Compressor?

Personally, I think outputting over a Kona card is the best way. But if you’re staying in software, I’d use compressor.
As far as letterboxing, I don’t think you’ll be able to tell a difference between FCP and compressor.
In all reality, if you’re going to be going to DV, it will be hard to tell any differences in how you got there because of how compressed a DV file is.
