1080p videos uploaded goes 720p on YT
Posted by Mit Panchani on November 5, 2015 at 5:01 pmI record 1080p videos, edit them, and render them to 1080p.
After rendering the usual size is bigger, so i convert the avi file to mp4 via freemake video converter.
I recheck the properties, clearly mentioning 1920×1080.
Now uploading, on YT i see that after even 24 hours later, it’s showing 720p maxed.
Is it normal or i m missing any step?

November 5, 2015 at 6:24 pmYouTube can sense your internet connection speed and may be limiting you to 720p accordingly. Am I 100% certain that is what you’re experiencing? No!

November 5, 2015 at 7:00 pmWell, you are right. Checking the uploaded video over desktop now shows 1080p while on android and apple device still shows 720p as maxed.
