1080i Playsback in Slow Motion LH
MacPro 2xquad 10MB Ram 3 internal drives striped RAID. Using Kona SDI out. FCP Studio all latest versions.
When I playback HD footage (both 4:2:2 Uncomp 8 bit and HDV timelines in Final Cut Pro) The video and audio seems fine on the computer screen, there are no dropped frames.
But the video coming out of the Kona card (SDI) plays back in uneven slow motion. The audio playback is OK. so they are out of sync, obviously.
I use the View setting of “Kona 1080i 29.97 8bit (1920-1080)”
SD playback seems OK, or I might be imagining little stutters in the video. Capture seems to be fine too, in all the flavors that I have.
I have tested it with “Mirror On Desktop” turned off, no help there.
I have 4 other systems like this and they are all working fine.
Any ideas?

Sounds like your timeline and footage don’t match. This slow motion usually happens when you have 60i footage and have tried to capture 23.98.
