10.6.8 upgrade killed digital out in FCP pro 7
Hello- When I upgraded to 10.6.8 on my MAc Pro with two computer monitors and a HD monitor for external video via Digital Cinema Desktop, I lost the ability to view on the HD monitor and my “2nd” computer monitor where the bins normally lie now goes black as if displaying a video, but none plays. I have to turn off external video out in order to see the bins, effects, etc.
Any idea of how to fix?
I already trashed prefs, re-installed the app.

Having used Time Machine to back up before updating, all you have to do is roll back to the previous version before the OS update.
It was widely reported here over the past few days to avoid this update if you are sticking with FCP7

Load the latest drivers for you video card, from the card’s manufacturers website. OS updates sometimes break device drivers. The update solved a problem I was having with my Nvidia card.
