April 10, 2012 at 8:18 pm[Jeremy Garchow] “Yes. Thank the NLE gods.”
Also has the dialogue box showing duration AND frames trimmed when you drag an edit always been there? and did the ” show detailed trimming feedback” work with connected clips before.
It’s late and I’m easily confused?

Is this better or worse than being brought to one’s knees?

That’s new, along with the delta change.
[Steve Connor] “and did the ” show detailed trimming feedback” work with connected clips before.”
Not that I know of, no.
[Steve Connor] “It’s late and I’m easily confused?”
🙂 How quickly the mind forgets once it gets what it needs!

April 10, 2012 at 8:31 pmCompressor updates are interesting.
Ability to run Compressor as an encoding node on a Mac without a monitor.
English translation: MacMini and MacPro.
So MacMini encoding clusters are in demand?Improves performance when encoding mp4 and AVI files.
Compressor 3 didn’t even do H.264 .mp4
Hey Apple cares about AVI files. -

April 10, 2012 at 8:34 pmJust loaded a 3 hour project with 290 clips in,all operations much faster, thumbnail and waveform redraw doesn’t seem to affect skimmer and playback performance as it did for me in 10.03.
Very happy so far!

April 10, 2012 at 8:38 pm[Steve Connor] “As I previously mentioned, something “feels” different, I opened my feature projects and they scrub considerably faster than before, no slight delays on playback.”
Just double checking: are you sure its not the play-cebo effect?

Technically, an .m4v is the same bitwise as an .mp4. But changing the suffix always felt like a hack, even if it wasn’t changing any bits.
Best,

Unless I’m susceptible as well, things are much more snappy. Much much better.
Could you always keyframe shape masks?
