100% After Effects
Hi all.
I was just wondering if there are many other After Effects people out there who have found that with the introduction of Shape Layers they have started to output work that is created and generated entirely in After Effects? By that I mean using no source footage/images. No other image generating software. The project literally starts and ends in AE.
I’ve noticed myself doing it a few times recently. Not intentionally I might add, but just one of those things.
Here is my latest one:
Would be cool to see other people’s work that has been created entirely in AE, feel free to list them.

Wow that seems pretty crazy if it was all made in After Effects. I would have thought that it would have been easier to have created the characters in something like Photoshop or Illustrator.
Cool though, cheers for that.

And, I do do some work that is entirely AE, but for the most part my work does involve video, as I am a video editor who does motion graphics (not a motion graphics artist who does video)….

Well this was done in my spare time so it’s hard to guess exactly how long it took. i think it was mostly created over a few evenings and the best part of a Sunday.
It took a whole day to render on a pretty hefty render farm though… I had quiet a few expressions going on.
