10 countdown and two pop
need one for my soundmixer and film scorer, but I don’t have a deck, so it won’t bring up Edit to Tape, shich I know has an optiob for 10 second countdowns…
I figure the 2 pop is easy- just take a frame of the beep from the bars and tones. But can anybody explain or tell me if it’s possible to bring up a 10 second countdown without using Edit to Tape to do so?

There used to be several animated academy countdown leaders on the FCP install disks:
FCP Install Disc >
Extras folder >
Head Leaders for Cinema Tools folder >
Leader Clips folder >
Choose one and import it into FCP.Or go here:
https://www.deepmagicstudios.com/FCP/
And roll down to the “Final Cut Pro Universal Leaders” section, download your choice, and import.

Out of curiousity though, why do you say there “used” to be countdown leaders on the FCP install disks? Is that no longer the case, or are you just unsure about FCP 6?
