Create a Photo Slideshow using After Effects

A guide to showing how to place loads of images on a timeline and space them out automatically.

According to YouTube analytics, there’s a gap in search where people want to find ways to quickly arrange dozens of photos onto a timeline. I’m guessing a lot of After Effects users might not have heard of Sequence Layers, which is understandable as it is hidden in the in the Keyframe Assistant menu.

Sequence Layers automatically spaces out your images based on each one’s duration and lets you include an overlap for transitions. It is super quick to use and once you are aware of how to set it up correctly, it will save you time.
