One single video fx effect has simply dissappeared
To put it simply my problem is that a video fx effect namely defocus has simply stopped working. That is I can apply the effect and it shows up in the list of effects but I have no options to change / edit it just a white box and on the video itself the effect is not present (does not make a difference).
Any clips I had used defocus on have reverted to being as if it were not there and any new projects and clips i apply it too has the same issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Out of interest – is this on Version 9 and have you just installed 9.0d – because I have a similar issue sometimes which previously saved projects – I think personally Sony rushed this release out for the NAB conference and didn’t test it 100% because there seem to be a number of issues….

Its recent to about 2 weeks (since re-format of OS). I actually noticed I had the same problem on the effect glint whilst sometimes when re-opening sony vegas the problem was completely gone, but then returns and goes. I don’t have a clue what it is and i doubt there is much we can do about it.
BTW this is sony vegas pro 9 and these issues have only surfaced after about a month of editing with the software.
