Error Reading Rotated QuickTime (.MOV) Clips
I’ve run into a bit of a snag. My new digital camera records HD video in QuickTime format (.MOV). When I rotate these files (using other software) and save them in their proper orientation, Vegas still displays the file in its original orientation, despite the fact that QuickTime and other players recognize the change and play the movie in its saved format. I’ve tried saving rotated versions in multiple programs and playing the rotated versions in multiple programs; all show my clips in their rotated format, but Vegas still imports the files in their “sideways” versions. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem? Many of the clips from my new camera will be unusable if Vegas won’t read the rotated version. ??
Thanks for any help you can provide!
