I’m trying to reinstall Marcalli plug in by newly updated PC which is running Windows 7, 64 bit & I am having problems. Partially because I have so seldom used plug in & but also because I’m having problems with Windows 7 whereby I don’t know where its putting things.

I assume that the Prodad files should end up in Vegas’s plug in folder but where it is on my PC I don’t know. I clicked on the winzip file the plug is in & it opens OK. It opens & suggests that it should go under programs Prodad. I click OK. Should I be changing the install location at his time to Sony’s plug in folder, FX folder etc.

Once I open Vegas & put a clip on the time line & then select the FX icon from the clip Mercalli is not listed. How do I fix this?

    Thanks in advance

Wheb you install Mercalli, it is better to let the installer decide where to install. Then everything will work fine.

And you know that Mercalli will only work under 32-bits Vegas 9 pro and not Vegas pro 64-bit? Probably that’s your problem.

I had seen on the Prodad site that the requirements for its use included Windows 7 32 & 64 bit versions. Its only further down the page does it say that the Sony version is 32 bit only. Hopefully they will produce an appropriate version soon.

    Thanks in advance
