About masking..
Hi.. i have a question about masking in Sony Vegas Pro 8.0
If i have already done the mask and stuff.. is there possible to move that ? .. i mean.. like when masking object is in the middle, then can i move it to the left.. so it will stay on left .. ?
if anyone can do that, then please help 🙂 -

If you used the Mask tool in Pan/Crop, all you have to do is right-click on one of the points and choose Select | All. Then move the mask to wherever you want by dragging one of the selected points (make sure you use the Arrow tool to drag).

actually.. i ment .. how i can move the selected area WITH that picture , what i had pointed all over ..
and if i make these anchors , then how i can move them correctly.. always when i try to move them, it’s goes all messy and not how it suppose to be :S -

It sounds like you are not selecting the Arrow tool. If you have the point tool selected it will change the mask points.
Try this:
- Select the Arrow tool
- Click on an area that is not within the mask (this will deselect the mask)
- Now click on one point and choose Select | All
- Click that same point and move the mask.
This should move the mask without changing it.

i know already that 🙂 ..
but i want to move one or two points.. but it don’t go the way i want.. it goes always more or less.. but not strictly … -

Could it be that you have Enable Snaping depressed? If so, the points will only move to grid positions. Try turning this off in the buttons on the left or hold Shift to temporarily override.
