  Cineform Render 9.0a 64bit

  I just purchased the Cineform Neo Scene to help me with my AVCHD files from the Panasonic HMC150. When I render the files, to the Cineform AVI, they have no audio. I load them into Vegas, and only the video track shows up…..no audio at all. I know I have the latest version of Cineform, so do you think this is a Vegas problem or a Cineform problem?

  Any ideas on what to do?

  I have read that CineForm doesn’t supply an AC3 codec and uses whatever encoder is on your system. Perhaps this is part of the problem? Also there were a lot of issues with 64-bit encoding not working properly. I stayed at Neo Scene version 1.3.5 because of this. If you have a different version that may be the problem.

  My version is definitely newer. I just bought it. Do you think that I can get an older version from them….I can’t seem to find an older version on their website.

  Does the older version work well with the 64bit?

  I am shocked because several of us tested the new version and reported to CineaForm that it did NOT work with Vegas 64-bit and yet they continue to give it to customers.

  Here is a link to the last known copy of Neo Scene to work with Vegas Pro 9.0 64-bit:

  Keep a copy in a safe place until they fix it.
