Greeting from Ireland. I have spent days editing clips in Pro 9 and rendered it at stages to see how it was comming along. I even rendered the full 4 and a half minutes today in mp4 with no problem. When I went back to it tonight, first it was giving error 5 and I noted a mention of MP4, but I’m not tech minded so I didn’t read too carefully. After reading through a lot of threads I discovered ticking 2 passes on mp4 in pro 9 causes it to crash. So I unticked 2 passes, now it looks like its rendering but the progress isn’t moving and the time keeps rising. I reinstalled but that didn’t help and I haven’t added anything to the timeline since it rendered perfectly earlier today so I’m at a loss. Any ideas? I really don’t want to see all that work go to waste.

I had trouble rendering .mov (only)files after Vegas 9 Pro install. My problem turned out to be related to the hard drive I was working on. If you have more than one hard drive available, it might at least help your trouble shooting if you try rendering to a different drive.

    Good luck,

if it freezes at 0% and the loading time keeps go up the problem is with the audio tracks, i had 2 audio track, one is the background noise of the video, the second one is the music! i deleted the background noise and it renderred succesful so i dont know exactly what, but the problem is with the multiple tracks’ interference for me
